Job summary

Optio Incentives is seeking motivated students to join its Tech team for a paid internship from June to August. You will work as part of a dedicated product team on a real project, building, coding, testing, and solving meaningful problems from day one, with ongoing mentorship from experienced developers.

As an intern, you will participate in daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and code reviews, gaining exposure to modern product development in a fast-moving scale-up.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a computer science, software engineering, or related program.
• Hands-on coding experience through school projects, side projects, or internships.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team to build a real Optio project.
• Write and review code using TypeScript, Deno/Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Attend daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and code reviews.
• Present progress to the Tech team at the end of the internship.

The Internship

This summer, we're looking for a group of ambitious and curious students to join our Tech team for a paid internship. From June to August, you'll work as a dedicated product team on a real-life project that brings value to Optio. You'll be building, coding, testing, and solving meaningful problems from day one. You'll receive ongoing mentorship and support from experienced developers who will guide you throughout the summer.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate as a team to build a solution that solves a real challenge for Optio
• Write and review high-quality code using technologies like TypeScript, Deno/Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Participate in daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and code reviews
• Get exposure to modern product development in a fast-moving scale-up
• Receive ongoing support and feedback from senior engineers
• Present your progress and learnings to the broader Tech team at the end of the summer
