Job summary

Aker BP invites a Summer Student 2027 to gain hands-on experience in Decommissioning and T&I. You will join the Decommissioning Team, supporting planning and execution of offshore installations’ safe removal and onshore recycling.

The internship offers 6–8 weeks of practical exposure, site visits, reviews, and collaboration with experienced professionals. You should be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering or Management, in your third or fourth year, with fluency in English

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Management.
• Third or fourth year of study; other programs with relevant technical experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Support project leaders in day‑to‑day responsibilities.
• Conduct site visits and participate in engineering reviews and risk assessments.
• Engage in decommissioning planning and onshore disposal tasks as needed.
• Contribute to data availability, interpretation, and visualization for decision-making.
