Job summary

A global semiconductor company in Oslo seeks a Software Engineering Intern to design embedded software and development tools. You'll collaborate with various teams to address business challenges while pursuing your Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics Engineering or Programming. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python
Familiarity with assembly language programming
Experience with ARM Cortex M series microcontrollers
Knowledge of continuous integration systems such as Jenkins
Knowledge of build systems such as CMake or Make
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results

Education

As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll become a key contributor where your skills and input make a big difference. In this role, you’ll design embedded software and development tools that will be used to test products. You’ll write code that tells chips how to operate in revolutionary new ways. And, you’ll work closely with business partners and customers, as well as TI’s marketing, systems and applications engineering teams, to collaborate and solve business problems.

The Radio Software team is responsible for writing embedded software and scripts that implement wireless protocols such as Bluetooth Low Energy and Zigbee.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in a field related to Electronics Engineering or Programming
Preferred Qualifications

These are nice to have, don’t worry if you don’t have all these skills fully developed yet, you will learn in your assignment with us.

Technical

Knowledge of scripting languages such as python

Familiarity with assembly language programming

Experience with ARM Cortex M series microcontrollers

Knowledge of continuous integration systems such as Jenkins or similar
