Job summary

Azure Dine & Hire in Alta, Norway invites applications for an experienced Tiler to install and repair ceramic, porcelain, marble, and mosaic tiles. You will measure, cut, mix adhesives, and place tiles with precision, ensuring waterproofing in wet areas.

Requires reading blueprints and reading tile types; room for relocation could be preferred. Salary is 1,200 USD per month with visa sponsorship available and full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a tiler.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of tile types and installation methods.
• Proficient in using tile cutting tools and other equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled.
• Cut tiles to fit around obstacles using power saws or hand tools.
• Mix and apply adhesive materials.
• Set tiles in place using levels, straightedges or trowels.
• Align tiles with chalk lines or grid patterns.
• Apply grout between joints of tiles.
• Clean and polish tiled surfaces.
• Remove old tiles or damaged areas as needed.
• Ensure proper waterproofing techniques are used when tiling showers or wet areas.
