Job summary

Stay Nozawa is seeking a dynamic Ski and Snowboard Instructor to join our winter team in Ski, Norway. You will provide high-quality instruction to individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels, with a focus on safety and enjoyment on the slopes.

Requirements include a level 1 qualification from an international ski/snowboard association and at least one season of teaching experience. First aid/CPR certification is preferred. Availability from December 1 to March 31 is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 1 qualification with an international ski/snowboard association.
• At least 1 season of teaching skiing/snowboarding experience.
• First aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Reliable, customer-focused service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ski and snowboard lessons according to plan and safety guidelines.
• Evaluate student abilities and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Demonstrate techniques and drills to improve skills.
• Create a positive, supportive learning environment for all ages.
• Collaborate with the team in a busy short-season setting.

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Ski and Snowboard Instructor. As a Ski and Snowboard Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels. The role requires flexibility, independent decision-making, strong customer-focused services, adaptive teaching skills, and the ability to work under the intensity of a winter season.

Responsibilities

General duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Conducting ski and snowboard lessons according to the lesson plan and safety guidelines.
• Evaluating the abilities of students and tailoring instruction to meet their needs.
• Demonstrating proper techniques and exercises to help students improve their skiing and snowboarding skills.
• Creating a positive and supportive learning environment for students and other team members.
• Ability to work in a small team in a busy short season.
• Ensuring the safety of all participants during lessons.
• Communicating effectively with students to provide feedback and schedule new lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience / Qualifications

• Minimum of level 1 qualification in an international ski/snowboard association.
• Minimum 1 season experience in teaching skiing and snowboarding
• Experience in teaching, guiding, or childcare or working in a customer service-oriented environment.
• First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
