OKK-DRIFT seeks skilled Sheet Metal Workers / Roofers (Blikkenslager) to join our team in Norway. You will install and maintain sheet metal roofing components, read drawings, and ensure safety standards on site.

We value experience with metal roofing systems, fabrication, and working at height, in varying weather. English or Norwegian proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker/Roofer (Blikkenslager).
• Strong understanding of metal roofing systems and sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read technical drawings and construction documentation.
• Experience working at height and in various weather conditions.
• Good understanding of HSE/HMS regulations.
• Good communication skills and team mindset.
• Good level of English or Norwegian.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain sheet metal components for roofing, facades, and related structures.
• Perform roofing work including metal roofing systems, flashings, gutters, and downpipes.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and maintain sheet metal components for roofing, facades, and related building structures.

• Perform roofing work including metal roofing systems, flashings, gutters, and downpipes.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications.

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Norwegian safety regulations and industry standards.

• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker / Roofer (Blikkenslager).

• Strong understanding of metal roofing systems, sheet metal fabrication, and installation techniques.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and construction documentation.

• Experience working at height and in various weather conditions.

• Good understanding of HSE / HMS regulations.

• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

• Good level of English or Norwegian.
