Overview

Sr. Partner Alliances Executive - Higher Education and Non-Profit. This role supports the Workday Global Partners Organization (GPO) to develop partnerships that accelerate innovation and growth, with a focus on the Higher Education and Non-Profit sectors.

The team is implementing a unified, global partner strategy with local flavor and cross-functional engagement in programs, systems, processes, and people. About the Role

The Senior Partner Executive is responsible for developing the Workday pipeline across all GSI and/or Advisory Partners within the industry. The role involves collaboration with internal functions including services, marketing, pre-sales, value management, legal, and industry, as well as strong engagement with partners.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the Workday pipeline across GSI and Advisory Partners in the assigned industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (services, marketing, pre-sales, value management, legal, industry) to drive partner-led initiatives.
  • Represent the partner ecosystem in cross-functional programs and go-to-market motions.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Higher Education and/or Non-Profit industries.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Partner Alliances with an ERP software organization.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Business Development or Sales Strategy for a Partner Alliances team.
  • Professional experience collaborating with GSI partners.
  • Proven ability to influence sales organizations in matrixed environments and to deliver pipeline generation and bookings.
  • Cloud technology, data analytics, API and platform experience; ability to envision partner ecosystems and communicate a clear vision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce skills.
  • MBA is a plus.
Location & Travel

Location: USA – Workday office with ability to travel within the country (25–35% moderate travel).

Compensation & Benefits

The annual base salary ranges by location. Base pay ranges are disclosed during the hiring process and may be complemented by a bonus plan, commissions, and stock grants. Details vary by geography, experience, and business need. Workday offers flexible work arrangements to balance in-person and remote work.
