Job summary

Head Energy is seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer for on-site deployment in Stavanger. The role covers daily follow-up of IT/OT/telecom infrastructure aboard rigs, technical surveys, and design/installation support, with coordination of carrier links, network design, and IT/OT integration.

You will engage in real-time rig operations, AV and videoconference support, and coordination with multiple vendors and clients, contributing to safe and efficient offshore connectivity and telemetry services.

Head Energy is looking for a skilled/experienced Senior Telecom EngineerPnr: 23791 Senior Telecom Engineer

• Rig intake / onboarding

  • Daglig oppfølging eksisterende IT-, OT- og telecom-infrastruktur.
  • Gjennomføre tekniske surveys og etablere underlag for design og installasjon.
  • Koordinere nye rigg-intake-aktiviteter og migrering/endringer mot kunden-løsninger.
  • Leverandør-oppfølging

• WAN og offshore connectivity

  • Oppfølging av "carriers": radiolink/LoS, Starlink, T-FAST, 4G/5G og subsea fibre, design og endringer
  • IT/OT nettverksdesign
  • Design og koordinering av IT- og OT-nett.
  • Oppdateringer Switcher, kabling, fiber, VLAN, rack/skap og tilkoblinger.
  • 3dje parts nettverk og firewall-infrastruktur er også en del av riggbildet.

• OT- og telecom-tjenester

  • Oppfølging av tjenester som MIMER, TETRA, Radar VTMS og OSD, CCTV og Personnel Tracking (PTS).

• AV og videokonferanse

  • Videokonferanse og AV-løsninger på riggene inngår i tjenestebildet, med intern koordinering mot OCC.
  • Telemedicine

• Real-time drilling / tredjepartstjenester

  • Oppfølging, tilrettelegging og feilsøking for dataflyt mellom rigg, kunden og tredjepartsleverandører.
  • Tjenestebildet omfatter blant annet Sitecom, WITSML, Petrel og Wired Drillpipe, samt Rig Edge/kommunikasjon mot div kunder.

• Operasjonell support og feilhåndtering

  • Følge opp feil på Wi-Fi, WAN, radiolink, Starlink, nettverk og tilhørende riggtjenester.
  • Koordinere saker mellom IT-HELP, NetNordic, Tampnet, Marlink, Vissim, Kinly og Halliburton GNOC, avhengig av tjenesten.
  • Leverandør- og installasjonskoordinering
  • Koordinere rig owner, telecom-/nettverksleverandører og kunden-fagmiljøer rundt survey, design, bestilling, installasjon og commissioning.
