Job description

Sensio is a Nordic leader in the healthcare technology sector, dedicated to solving elderly care challenges for the benefit of residents, patients, healthcare personnel, and society. We develop sensors, systems, and platforms that significantly improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare, leading the sector to embrace technology and provide #MoreTimeForCare.

As we transition from being the leading tech company in Scandinavia for elderly care to becoming a trusted transformation partner across Europe, Sensio was acquired by Nordic Capital in 2024. We have one of the leading in-house product development teams in Norway, comprising about 80 product specialists, and a total team of 230 colleagues across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the UK, and Germany.

About the role

At Sensio, we’re transforming elderly care through innovative technology. Our platform, Sensio 365, integrates sensors, systems, and health data to empower caregivers and enhance quality of life.

You will be part of the team addressing complex architectural challenges, helping shape a scalable, reliable, and maintainable platform. You’ll work with .NET, C#, and Azure to design and implement robust services, maintaining high technical standards while delivering value to users.

What you’ll do
  • Design, develop, and scale the platform connecting multiple complex systems.
  • Utilize .NET, C#, and Azure in development.
  • Create customer value and ensure architectural quality.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
Who you are
  • A pragmatic, sociable senior technologist with a collaborative spirit and cultural awareness.
  • Experienced in architecture, especially within distributed systems or migrations to service-oriented architectures.
  • Proficient in .NET, C#, Azure, with a good understanding of system resilience and uptime SLAs/SLIs/SLOs.
  • Open to exploring emerging technologies to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
Experience & background
  • 5–10+ years in software development roles; consulting experience is a plus.
  • Formal education is valued, but demonstrable experience is essential.
  • Fluent in English.
Why join Sensio?
  • Influence the core architecture of a purpose-driven, scaling platform.
  • Be part of a societal impact-driven scale-up: helping caregivers spend more time with people, less with systems. Collaborate with an experienced, passionate team, alongside product and design partners.
  • Enjoy hybrid work flexibility, a modern office environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional growth.
