Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a security‑minded engineer to help Isovalent implement industry‑leading security practices across the software development lifecycle. You will build and deploy tools to detect vulnerabilities and triage findings from SAST/DAST, cloud scanners, external reports, and pentests, ensuring consistent security processes across product teams and driving a metrics‑driven security posture.

Qualifications

• Technical background in information security or related field with Linux security concepts.
• Experience automating security processes using Go, Python, Bash or IaC tools such as Terraform to identify, validate and organize security vulnerabilities.
• Demonstrable experience of leading security projects from design to delivery.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy tools to detect vulnerabilities in Isovalent software and tune them for valuable signals.
• Triage findings from SAST/DAST scanners, cloud security scanners, external reports, and pentests.
• Continuously improve security processes with a metrics-driven focus to identify high-impact issues.
• Partner with development, release, and other security teams to ensure timely remediation and clear security posture documentation.
