Job summary

Client Server Ltd. in London is seeking a Senior SDET / Java Developer in Test to join a global technology consultancy.

You will design and build scalable test automation frameworks and automate UI and API testing using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar, with CI/CD integration. You'll work in a hybrid setup with three days in the London office or at client sites, collaborating with engineers to embed quality, leverage AI-enabled tools to improve coverage, and contribute to performance

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, FinTech or consultancy environments.
• Strong Java coding skills.
• Experience building test automation frameworks.
• Strong UI and API testing experience.
• Knowledge of Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter/LoadRunner).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Comfort with AI-enabled tools to boost productivity.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable test automation frameworks.
• Develop UI and API automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Create test strategies, plans and automated scripts covering functional, integration and regression testing.
• Work closely with engineers to embed a quality-first approach.
• Use AI and automation tools to improve test coverage and delivery.
