Payward, the parent of Kraken, is seeking a React Native engineer to strengthen the Krak consumer pod. You will build and scale core Krak experiences across mobile, focusing on high UX quality and reliable performance. Collaborate with product, frontend, and backend teams to ship features used by a global user base.

The role emphasizes end-to-end delivery, code quality, and staying current with React Native ecosystems. Bring 3+ years of mobile app experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of shipping large-scale consumer mobile apps using React Native.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and APIs.
• Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets) and live updates.
• Collaborative mindset with product and design teams to deliver customer value.
• Excellent written and spoken English communications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile apps with React Native and TypeScript.
• Own end-to-end delivery of Krak features from design to release.
• Build maintainable, performant screens and components; ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Rust backend engineers to deliver value.
