Job summary

Bulk Infrastructure in Norway is seeking a Principal Operations Engineer to build and own the programs behind reliable data center operations across the portfolio.

You will lead change management, incident response, and risk reviews, writing engineering standards and enabling site teams with training and governance.

As a senior contributor, you will drive root cause analysis, conduct health checks, and mentor engineers to embed best practices across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in mission critical systems across multiple sites.
• Deep knowledge of MV/LV architecture for fault-tolerant topologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of UPS, battery systems and generators, incl. testing.
• Proven record owning and implementing operational programs.
• Experience as incident commander on major electrical events.
• Excellent English communication; Scandinavian language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the change management program, and the standards and training that go with it.
• Build the root cause analysis framework our engineers and site teams work to.
• Run the incident response and drill programs, including incident response training.
• Run risk reviews, and set the risk and redundancy targets our sites are measured against.
• Write and maintain the technical policies, procedures and engineering standards for operations.
• Teach and mentor engineers across the organization, so the standards live in how people work.
