Job summary

You will review P&IDs, requisitions, purchase orders and supplier documents; verify interfaces; ensure compliance with EN 13480, ASME B31.3, PED; lead a small team; require 15+ years of experience; Norwegian/English language; on-site 20-40% schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 15+ years in piping engineering; 5–10 years in calculations and component selection.
• Experience with EN 13480 and ASME B31.3.
• Knowledge of NORSOK, DNV, ISO, ASTM, API standards and PED.
• Experience with PCS, PDS, VDS, MDS.
• Proven leadership including team management.
• Excellent Excel skills; programming is a plus.
• Fluent Norwegian or another Scandinavian language; English skills good.
• Able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform and verify piping engineering calculations.
• Prepare pipe class sheets, work instructions, and engineering guidelines.
• Select and verify piping components, valves, and bulk materials, ensuring project compliance.
• Review piping engineering documents, requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.
• Verify interfaces between piping, valves, instruments, and equipment packages.
• Review P&IDs and specification breaks.
• Evaluate and respond to technical queries.
