Job summary

Hunter Philips Executive Search is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Commissioning Lead for a brand-new hyperscale data centre project in Rogaland, Norway. You will steer L1–L5 commissioning from construction through IST and handover, ensuring readiness of chillers, pumps, CRAH/CRAC, AHUs and ventilation systems.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years of mechanical commissioning experience on hyperscale facilities, strong leadership, and expert knowledge of BMS/BAS and QA/QC documentation.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of mechanical commissioning experience.
• Experience on hyperscale data centre projects is essential.
• Strong understanding of L1–L5 commissioning methodology.
• HVAC, chilled water, CRAH/CRAC, AHUs knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead commissioning teams and manage QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Lead L1–L5 mechanical commissioning, IST and handover.
• Commission chillers, pumps, CRAH/CRAC, AHUs and ventilation systems.
• Drive system readiness, tests, defect management and commissioning programs.
• Coordinate with Electrical, BMS/BAS and Controls teams.
