Job description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineer – Marine Engineering to join an exciting project in Oslo. This role involves taking a leading position in marine installation engineering and contributing to the successful execution of complex offshore projects.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including MDR, procurement plans, technical specifications, operational procedures, and calculations.
  • Perform design modifications and protection performance evaluations based on soil data.
  • Participate in document reviews (DIC, IDC) and ensure accurate as-built documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with project-specific and corporate HSE and quality requirements.
  • Establish and manage interface requirements and assist in resolving interface issues.
  • Follow up subcontracted work (Survey, ROV, vessel operations, and other contracted services) and suppliers.
  • Participate in client meetings and progress reviews.
  • Conduct Safe Job Analysis, HAZOPs, and FMEA as required.
  • Delegate work packages and monitor progress.
  • Provide offshore supervision when needed.
  • Contribute to department development, including tools, checklists, and templates.
  • Train new personnel and participate in tender work, R&D, and investment projects.
