Job summary

DKB Code Factory is building a new mobile-first product and seeks an iOS Engineer to shape its core architecture and MVP flows for a distinct customer segment. You will contribute to a reusable SwiftUI codebase and collaborate closely with a growing cross-functional team to accelerate time-to-market.

You’ll mentor other iOS developers, own feature delivery with clear acceptance criteria, and drive performance and accessibility improvements while aligning with CI/CD practices across the stack.

Qualifications

• Proven production experience in Swift and SwiftUI, with knowledge of current iOS SDKs and Xcode workflows.
• Experience designing modular iOS architectures (navigation patterns, state management) and integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Strong testing discipline: unit testing and integration testing in CI pipelines.
• Experience setting up or working with CI/CD tools and automated build/test pipelines.
• Excellent collaboration skills, experience in cross-functional product teams with Product, Design, and Backend.
• Track record of mentoring others and driving code quality through PR reviews and standards.
• Fluent English required; Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evolve the foundational iOS architecture, including navigation, state management, and API integration, delivering it as part of the MVP codebase.
• Audit and integrate shared components and modules, defining integration approaches and documenting trade-offs for reuse.
• Build and maintain a modular SwiftUI codebase supported by CI/CD pipelines, linters, and a testing strategy.
• Deliver prioritized MVP user flows (onboarding, core interactions, navigation) with Backend and Product alignment.
• Drive performance optimizations and accessibility improvements, ensuring targets for launch time and memory usage.
• Mentor and support other iOS developers, contributing to onboarding and code review practices.
• Own features and outcomes, define acceptance criteria, monitor release quality, and adapt to changing requirements.

• Identify, audit, and integrate shared components and modules, defining integration approaches and documenting trade-offs to maximize reuse and consistency across the product.
• Build and maintain a modular SwiftUI codebase supported by CI/CD pipelines, linters, and a comprehensive testing strategy, including unit, snapshot, and integration tests to ensure reliable releases.
• Deliver the majority of prioritized MVP user flows, such as onboarding, core interactions, and navigation, collaborating closely with Backend and Product to meet acceptance criteria.
• Drive performance optimizations and accessibility improvements, ensuring app launch time, memory usage, and accessibility standards remain within agreed targets.
• Mentor and support other iOS developers, contributing to onboarding, knowledge sharing, and establishing high-quality code review practices across the team.
• Take strong ownership of features and outcomes, defining acceptance criteria, monitoring release quality, and proposing incremental improvements to adapt efficiently to changing requirements.
