Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting in Stavanger, Norway, is seeking a senior Drilling Engineer to lead planning and execution for challenging offshore wells. The role focuses on Well Construction Preparation, DWOPs, and ensuring compliance with project standards using OpenWells and SAP for cost control.

You will coordinate with subsurface teams, prepare P&A and POO programs, and maintain rigorous QAQC of data and procurement records.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required; medical certification is beneficial.
• 10+ years of industry experience in jack-up subsea operations.
• Experience in planning P&A, supply/logistics and cost control.
• Strong English; Norwegian language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and review drilling programmes and detailed operations.
• Ensure documents comply with company policy, industry standards and local regulations.
• Lead HSE safety leadership across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare End of Well Report (EOWR) and manage cost certifications.
• Coordinate with service companies and manage contract terms.
• Maintain data QAQC in Openwells and ERP systems.
