Job summary

MDE Stavanger is seeking a Senior CAD Operator to draft PFDs/UFDs using Microstation, and P&IDs with SmartPlantP&ID, plus 2D drawings across Electro, Instrument, Telecom and Automation. The role requires strong English communication and a technical college diploma, with opportunities for permanent or project-based employment.

Candidates should have at least five years of SmartPlantP&ID experience on greenfield projects and be able to work independently, with onboarding and visa support where

Qualifications

• Technical College diploma or equivalent
• Min. 5 years working experience with SmartPlantP&ID from green field projects
• Ability to work independently in SmartPlantP&ID
• Ability to work independently in Microstation
• Working experience drafting 2D drawings in Greenfield or Brownfield projects for different disciplines, e.g. Process, Electrical, Instrument, Telecom and Automation
• Good written and oral English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Drafting of PFDs/UFDs in Microstation
• Drafting of P&IDs in SmartPlantP&ID and/or Microstation
• Drafting of 2D drawings within Electro, Instrument, Telecom and Automation
