Who are we looking for:

We are now looking for Senior Engineers within Automation discipline who have a dream of working on a project in Stavanger.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 8 years’ experience from automation engineering in projects to be located on the Norwegian Continental Shelf

You will be working in an international environment, so fluent English or Norwegian is necessary.

What You will be responsible for:
  • Work with Company work processes and databases handlers.
  • Work with Equinor systems(STID-Loop/Tag/Doc, PIMS, Procosys, SAP-PM06/10, ECP, access@plant etc)
  • Development of design and safety critical documentations typically for SCDs, Cause and Effects, context and hiding diagrams, functional specifications, IO-lists etc.
  • Client and supplier communication( mastering Norwegian language are highly appreciated )
  • Work with projects in different phases including Study phase
What we expect from You:
  • Master/bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
  • Fluent English or Norwegian
  • 8 years of experience from automation engineering
  • Equinor offshore and/or onshore installations
  • Equinor technical requirements, guidelines, and Aris work processes
  • Common variants of communication protocols and communication layers for typically OPC, Modbus(RTU and TCP), Profibus etc.
  • Architecture and features in Safety Instrumented System from major suppliers.
You should also have:
  • Have a cooperative working attitude.
  • Be systematic and accurate.
  • Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
Required Certificates: Can be taken in Norway after arrival
  • FSE, high and low voltage with first aid
  • EX-course - Basic EX course - Minimum 6-8 hours online
  • Offshore course and health certificate. If you do not have this at start-up, this must be possible to complete when/if needed.
