Job summary

University of Oslo seeks an Associate Professor in Clinical Pharmacy to lead teaching and research in social pharmacy. The successful candidate will supervise Master and PhD students, lead the main social pharmacy course, and develop a strong research group with external funding in collaboration with healthcare partners.

Requirements include a PhD in clinical or social pharmacy, a Master’s in pharmacy, documented pedagogical skills (SoTL portfolio), and Norwegian proficiency at B2 or higher.

Qualifications

• PhD in clinical or social pharmacy with strong publication record.
• Master’s degree in pharmacy formally documented.
• Strong research output in the last five years.
• Proven ability to secure external funding.
• Knowledge of Scandinavian pharmaceutical practice and traditions.
• Pedagogical qualifications with a teaching portfolio (SoTL framework).
• Norwegian proficiency at minimum B2, strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise in social pharmacy at all study levels.
• Lead courses for the main social pharmacy course at undergraduate level.
• Initiate and conduct high-quality research and seek external funding.
• Develop a strong, sustainable research group and contribute to admin tasks.
