Job summary

Energy As in Stavanger seeks a specialist to coordinate remote commissioning of Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) across projects. You will establish best practices, categorize tasks for remote execution, and liaise with operations for onshore readiness, while aligning with digital initiatives.

You will collaborate with suppliers, integrators and contractors, define IT/OT cybersecurity needs and support planning, scheduling and resources for remote SAS activities, driving the methodology

• Significant experience with SAS commissioning activities.
• Knowledge of remote commissioning methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to coordinate across suppliers, contractors and operations.
• Understanding network, communication and IT/OT cybersecurity needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all remote commissioning activities for the Safety and Automation System (SAS) across the project portfolio.
• Establish, document, and maintain best practices for remote commissioning within the SAS discipline.
• Identify and categorize SAS commissioning scope suitable for remote execution (e.g., loop checks, function tests, software verification).
• Liaise with future operations teams on requirements and readiness of onshore control rooms.
• Ensure alignment with strategic initiatives within commissioning, including digital ways of working.
• Coordinate with suppliers, system integrators, and contractors on remote commissioning interfaces, protocols, and access arrangements.
• Support project teams with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for remote SAS activities.
• Define network, communication, and cybersecurity requirements for remote commissioning in cooperation with IT/OT specialists.
• Capture and share lessons learned from remote commissioning execution to mature the methodology.

Required expertise

• Significant experience with commissioning processes, specifically for Safety and Automation Systems (SAS).
