Job summary

A leading engineering staffing provider is seeking a Safety / Technical Safety Lead in Oslo. The ideal candidate will develop safety solutions and strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations and project deadlines. Candidates must possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical/safety engineering, with at least 10 years of experience. Main Tasks
  • Develop safety solutions and strategies to the required level of details
  • Area classification, escape and evacuation
  • Passive fire protection
  • Active fire protection
  • Fire&Gas
  • ESD
  • Functional safety
  • Technical Safety Lead, responsible to follow up the discipline in the project
  • Responsible for ensuring that work is performed according to relevant instructions/procedures and in accordance with the contract
  • Responsible to follow project schedule
Qualifications
  • Master/Bachelors degree. Preferred within mechanical/safety engineering
  • Min. 10 years working experience with the work tasks listed above
  • Detailed knowledge of national regulation and standards (TR, NORSOK, etc.)
  • Preferred FPSO experience
  • Ability to work independently and thorough as well as ability to work in team
  • Multidiscipline understanding
  • Good communication skills
  • Have a high loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
  • Be proactive, seeking information on a multidiscipline level and share information with team
  • Communicate well in English - Both oral and in writing
