Job summary

India Abroad is seeking a skilled Roofer to join its Bergen team on a contract basis. The role involves repairing, maintaining and installing roofs on houses, buildings and commercial properties. The position offers a monthly salary of 1600 USD and requires working at heights, ability to work in diverse weather, and a valid visa to work in Norway.

This contract does not provide accommodation. You will collaborate with team members, follow safety procedures, and report progress to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Roofer is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work in Bergen, Norway.
• Must have your own visa to work in Norway.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Physical strength and stamina for manual labor.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect roofs for damage and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
• Install new roofing systems including shingles, tiles, and metal roofs.
• Repair leaks or damages on existing roofs.
• Remove debris from roofs and clean gutters.
• Follow safety procedures at all times while working at heights.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
