Job summary

Techconsult is seeking an experienced EPCI specialist to lead conceptual and project development for rigid pipelines and/or flexible flowlines and risers. The role covers scope definition, technical requirements, tendering, and contractor follow-up on offshore campaigns, based in Norway with offices in Oslo/Fornebu or Stavanger.

Description about project/department:

Exploration & Production Norway (EPN) is responsible for developing and maximizing value creation on the Norwegian Continental Shelf through a renewed and more efficient operating model established under the NCS2035 programme. The ambition is to maintain production levels towards 2035 while strengthening safety, reducing costs, and simplifying work processes. This requires increased exploration activity, higher recovery rates from existing fields, and faster maturation and execution of new projects. EPN Project & Subsea Services (PSS) has accountability for early phase maturation and execution of subsea tie-back projects at the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS), global subsea and topside brownfield modifications, global subsea and marine operations and decommissioning projects on the NCS. We are looking for personnel with Rigid Pipelines and/or Flexible flowlines and risers competence to work on our projects.

Job responsibilities:

• Concept and project development within your discipline.
• Scope definitions/descriptions and selection of relevant technical requirements.
• Tendering and evaluation activities.
• Preparing of technical documents for project sanction, studies and contract tendering.
• Contractor follow-up in project execution.
• Sporadic offshore installation campaigns.

Your experience and qualifications:

• Technical degree (Bachelor or Master’s degree) , preferrably within mechanical, marine or civil engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of EPCI experience within rigid pipelines and/or flexible flowlines and risers.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
