Helse Fonna HF søker en bioingeniør med ansvar for immunhistokjemiske analyser og utvikling av metoder i et nytt laboratorium. Du vil samarbeide tett med patologer og teknologer for å sikre høy faglig kvalitet og pålitelig diagnostikk.

Stillingen er fast 100% i Haugesund, med fokus på implementering av nye antistoffer og metoder, testing og validering, samt bidrag til kvalitetsstyring og opplæring. Lønn etter avtale og dokumenterte kvalifikasjoner.

Qualifications

  • Norsk autorisasjon som bioingeniør eller tilsvarende høyere utdanning i laboratorie- eller bioscience-emner på bachelor- eller masternivå.
  • God forståelse for digitale verktøy som brukes i laboratoriearbeid.
  • Gode norske språkkunnskaper, muntlig og skriftlig.

Responsibilities

  • Ha faglig ansvar for immunhistokjemiske analyser og metoder, og holde seg faglig oppdatert innen faget.
  • Bidra til utvikling, verifisering og implementering av nye antistoffer i samarbeid med ansvarlig lege og patologifunksjonens leder.
  • Ansvar for testing, validering og verifikasjon av nye metoder og instrumenter i samarbeid med ansvarlig lege og patologifunksjonens leder.
  • Delta i beslutningsprosesser knyttet til anskaffelser og implementering av metoder og teknisk-medisinsk utstyr.
  • Bidra til opplæringsplaner og gjennomføre opplæring og undervisning innen fagområdet.
  • Deltakelse i laboratoriets kvalitetssystem, prosedyrer og dokumentasjon innen fagområdet.

Job description

With us you will work in a new laboratory where we use new and advanced technology, a high degree of automation and digital solutions. As the person responsible for the subject you will have a central role in ensuring high professional quality and contribute to the further development of the laboratory's immunohistochemical analyses.

You will be an important partner for pathologists, laboratory technicians and other professional environments. Your work will contribute to reliable diagnostics and facilitate more personalized treatment. The position is permanent and in 100 percent. We hope you will join us in the further development of the subject area with us.

What does the job involve?
  • Professional responsibility for immunohistochemical analyses and methods, and stay professionally updated within the subject area.
  • Contribute to the development, verification and implementation of new antibodies in collaboration with the responsible physician and the function leader for pathology.
  • Be responsible for testing, validation and verification of new methods and instruments in collaboration with the responsible physician and the function leader for pathology.
  • Participate in decision-making processes related to procurement and implementation of methods and medical-technical equipment.
  • Be responsible for preparing necessary training plans, as well as conducting training and teaching within the subject area.
  • Participate in the laboratory's quality system, including procedures and documentation within the subject area.
  • Contribute to improvement work, deviation handling and internal control.
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other professional groups to ensure high quality in patient diagnostics.
  • Participate in the rotation of work programs within several subject areas.
What competence is important in this role?

You must have:

  • Norwegian authorization as a bioengineer or relevant higher education in laboratory or bioscience subjects at bachelor or master level
  • a good understanding of the digital tools used in laboratory work
  • good Norwegian language skills, both oral and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • experience from pathology and immunohistochemistry/ automated platforms
  • experience with quality assurance and quality systems in a medical laboratory
  • experience with being responsible for a subject
