The positions is for a period 2 years and is associated with ERC Advanced-prosjektet «New Horizons of Parameterized Complexity» (NewPC). The desired start date for the positions is April 2026.
The project aims to develop multivariate algorithmic and complexity tools for optimization problems involving geometric and algebraic objects such as points, vectors, linear spaces, and matrices.
Personal and relational qualities will be emphasized. Research experience, ambitions and potential will also count when evaluating the candidates.
The University of Bergen is subjected to the regulation for export control system. The regulation will be applied in the processing of the applications.
