Jobgether invites applications for a Software Engineer – AI Tooling Infrastructure based in Norway. You will build and operate backend services powering AI-driven developer tools, including MCP servers, agent skills, and AI assistants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and operating production backend services.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript or Go, with practical knowledge of the other language.
• Experience designing APIs with versioning, error handling, rate limiting, and backward compatibility.
• Deep knowledge of OAuth/OIDC/JWT and API authorization for production usage.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, operate, and scale production backend services powering AI tooling.
• Own service architecture and infrastructure decisions enhancing reliability and scalability.
• Define, monitor, and improve SLOs, error budgets, and incident response with SRE teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations and publish incident reports and runbooks.
• Design authentication and authorization systems for AI agents and machine clients.
