Job summary

Virtual Advantage, LLC is seeking a.NET full-stack developer to join a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You will work on scalable software solutions for enterprise investigations and contribute to both front-end and back-end development.

The role requires collaboration with engineers, designers, QA and business stakeholders in an Agile environment, writing tests and documentation, and delivering high-quality APIs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a full-stack developer (NET)
• Experience developing .NET applications and REST APIs
• Knowledge of front-end and back-end languages and common stacks
• Familiarity with databases, web servers and UI/UX design
• Experience with DevOps and cloud deployment (Azure preferred)
• 3-5 years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, designers, QA and business teams to ideate, develop and support new features using Scout’s full stack tools.
• Own assigned development tasks through the full development life cycle from conception to deployment and maintenance.
• Write maintainable code with tests and documentation for reliable application operation.
• Test, troubleshoot, and debug software and infrastructure to ensure high-quality service.
• Collaborate to ensure timely releases of new features and builds.
• Continuously learn new tools and processes to improve performance and deployment workflows.
• Incorporate system and data security measures in feature design and development.
• Build the front-end with appealing visuals and UX considerations.
• Write effective APIs and technical documentation.
