Job summary

Ease Live AS, a Bergen, Norway based company, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to run and improve the hosting and operations of its SaaS platform. You will work with developers to ensure fast deployments, cost efficiency, and resilience in a high-traffic, global streaming environment.

You’ll be comfortable with Node.js, AWS or GCP, MySQL and Redis, and the core protocols like HTTP, SSL, DNS, WebSockets and TCP/IP. Experience with Terraform, GitHub, CircleCI and CI/CD is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience running real systems in production.
• Comfortable with Node.js, AWS or GCP, MySQL and Redis, and the protocols HTTP/SSL/DNS/WebSockets/TCP/IP.
• Version control and CI/CD should be second nature.

Responsibilities

• Run and improve hosting and operations of the Ease Live SaaS platform.
• Keep deployments fast, cost efficient, and resilient.
• Tuning deployments to handle live traffic spikes and maintain headroom.
• Collaborate with developers to automate testing and pipelines.
• Improve monitoring and infrastructure as code practices.
