Job summary

Mercor is seeking Consultants to evaluate AI-generated knowledge-work deliverables and refine the strongest option into a polished final product for clients. You will assess decks, docs, spreadsheets and PDFs, and apply rigorous design judgment to improve layout, typography, color, and polish.

This fully remote, part-time role requires about 10 hours per week at $80–100/hour, offering flexible engagement while upholding high standards and evidence-based feedback.

Qualifications

• Background in design or marketing/comms with strong presentation skills.
• Able to spot layout inconsistencies and spacing issues.
• Able to articulate quality improvements in writing with evidence.
• Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Compare AI-generated deliverables across layout, typography, color, and polish.
• Select the strongest candidate and rework it to reference quality.
• Provide clear design rationale tied to specific evidence (cell, slide, table, or section).
• Apply design judgment to corporate client materials in a remote setting.
