Job summary

Workshop Bemanning og Kompetanse AS in Oslo is seeking an Electrician/Technician to troubleshoot, repair and modify electrical and electromechanical systems on modern rail vehicles. The role requires hands-on experience with trains or rolling stock and the ability to read schematics and maintain documentation.

You will collaborate with engineers, mechanics and other technicians on planned work and urgent faults across traction, brakes, doors, HVAC, and passenger systems.

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification in a technical trade.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with trains or rolling stock.
• Experience with repair, maintenance and/or troubleshooting of electrical or electromechanical equipment.
• Good fault-finding skills and the ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
• A practical and structured approach to technical problems.
• Experience with service reports and ERP systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and electromechanical faults.
• Carrying out repairs and technical modifications.
• Working with systems such as traction, brakes, doors, HVAC, bogies, control and passenger systems.
• Reading electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Investigating recurring faults and identifying root causes.
• Documenting completed work and technical findings.
• Working closely with engineers, mechanics and other technicians.
