Job summary

Quantum in London is seeking a Data Architect to define design principles for its data platform and ensure every build aligns with them. You will own the QiCore data warehouse architecture and oversee integration of acquired businesses.

In this hands-on role you will write SQL and Python, set governance and data-quality standards, and mentor a small team of data engineers while partnering with Tech, Analytics and commercial teams to ready the platform for AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven enterprise or data architecture experience; production-ready warehouse/lakehouse design.
• Hands-on data engineering: SQL and Python; able to build and debug pipelines.
• Strong understanding of PII, data privacy, access control and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own the target architecture for QiCore and act as design authority for every build.
• Establish approaches to identity, consent, data classification, retention and access controls with security/governance stakeholders.
• Lead migration of Rewards into the warehouse and single customer view; create repeatable patterns for acquisitions.
• Define data modelling, governance and quality standards; review work before shipping.
• Stay hands-on: prototype pipelines and mentor a small data-engineer team.
