Job summary
FlexiRemote Solutions is seeking a QA Engineer to join our team in the US. You will test and ensure software quality, design and execute test plans, identify issues, and work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
Requirements include a BS in Computer Science or related field, at least 2 years of QA experience, strong knowledge of testing methodologies, and proficiency in Java or Python. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software products
- Identify, report, and track bugs in a timely manner
- Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve issues
- Conduct manual testing as well as design and implement automated tests
- Monitor product performance and ensure it meets quality standards
- Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on potential quality issues
