We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team in Alta Norway As a Contract QA Engineer you will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of our software products

This role is open to all genders and includes accommodation during the duration of the contract

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans scenarios and scripts for software applications
• Identify record and track defects to resolution
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
• Participate in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements product designs schedules or potential problems
• Communicate test progress results and recommendations to project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and processes

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle SDLC processes and methodologies
• Experience with testing automation tools such as Selenium or Appium
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and reports
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Preferred

• Experience working in an Agile environment
• ISTQB certification or equivalent
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
