Job description
We are looking for someone passionate for great food and beverages and with a taste for numbers.

Strawberry is looking for a passionate and driven foodie who also can relate to the palette of numbers. We have the unique opportunity as a Profit Manager for Food & Beverages (F&B) in our Total Profit department for that person with eye for detail and a commercially drive.

You will be working with developing the F&B optimisation to a large team of revenue managers developing, with a focus on the our larger hotels and both the restaurants and the conference & banquet offering. Together with our team you will help create sustainable long‑term profits and contribute to the development of the Profit department, as well as working closely with our F&B and sales team.

What you’ll do:
  • Optimize all revenue streams for F&B and ancillary products, through menu engineering and strategic pricing.
  • Develop, connect and motivate F&B optimisation within the Total Profit team
  • Be involved in and document cost margin analysis and pricing within the F&B segment.
  • Stakeholder management towards the operational F&B Team, other relevant HQ functions and external vendors.
  • Responsible for the pricing structure and framework for F&B on behalf of the profit department.
  • Assist in development of the reporting structure towards the management team and our hotels connecting the F&B performance with the overall performance of the hotel.
  • Be involved in the commercial strategy towards F&B & M&E for brands, hotels and the Profit department.

The position is employed at Strawberry’s head office in Oslo, but location within Scandinavia can be discussed for the right candidate. You will work within the Business Operation team in the profit department and the position will involve some travelling within the Nordics.

You will succeed with us if you have the following qualifications and educations:
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance or hospitality management. Relevant experience from a similar role may compensate.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable using data to diagnose problems, as well as to find ways to improve business.
  • Deep understanding of F&B pricing, Revenue Management digital marketing and hotel operations.
  • Self driven as well as ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Strong communications skills, written and verbal.
