Job summary

Eldurai is a Norwegian age-tech company building sensor-based AI-powered solutions to help older adults live safely at home. We are looking for a hands-on product engineer to work across the stack from sensor data to AI models and frontend interfaces.

You will own problems from idea to production, collaborating closely with the CTO and founders, in a hybrid setup with regular office days in Drammen.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with data modeling and time-series processing.
• Typically 5+ years of software development experience, or equivalent demonstrated technical capability.
• Strong backend skills across APIs, databases and system design.
• Practical experience with AI, LLMs or data-driven products.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Experience building and operating systems in production.
• Experience with spec-driven development using AI coding tools and agents.
• Understanding of mobile platforms (iOS and Android) is a plus.

PRODUCT ENGINEER

Focus: Full-stack, with emphasis on backend, data and AI

Employment: Full time

Start: Flexible, but ideally as soon as possible

1.BUILD TECHNOLOGY THAT REALLY MATTERS

Most of us want to stay in our own homes as we grow older. On our own terms. Eldurai is building technology to make that possible. We use discreet sensors, data and AI to learn what everyday life normally looks like for an older person. When something meaningfully changes, Eldurai can identify it and help make sure the right people know.

We are now looking for a product engineer to join our core team and help build Eldurai from an early stage.

2.WHAT YOU WILL BUILD

This is a hands-on, full-stack product engineering role with a strong focus on backend, data and AI. You will work across the whole stack from raw sensor data to intelligent models and our frontend applications. You will:

• Develop backend services and APIs connecting sensors, analytics, AI and notifications
• Build the data foundation that enables Eldurai to understand what is normal
• Develop AI functionality to identify meaningful changes in behavioral patterns
• Work with continuous data streams from sensors and IoT devices
• Build systems that are secure, scalable and reliable in production

You will work closely with our CTO and founding team and you will own problems from idea to production.

3. HOW WE BUILD

Sensors: state-of-the-art radar sensors, connected to the Eldurai cloud on Azure

Data: event-driven architecture on Azure Service Bus, with time series in TimescaleDB on PostgreSQL

Backend: services and APIs on Azure, containerized with Docker. Our current stack is primarily C#/.NET, but we choose technologies pragmatically

Frontend: native mobile apps and other user interfaces

AI-first: We use agents across several tools, with spec-driven development and human review

4. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You are a strong engineer who likes building products, not just implementing specifications. We think you have:

• Solid experience with data modeling and time-series processing
• Typically 5+ years of software development experience, or equivalent demonstrated technical capability
