Job summary

Cisco's Devices team is seeking a Senior UX Designer to shape human-technology interaction across devices for modern collaboration, in-room and hybrid workspaces. You will work at the intersection of hardware, software, and AI to translate complex capabilities into clear, reliable user journeys that feel inclusive.

Collaborating with design, product, engineering, research, and data science, you’ll ensure scalable experiences, measurable impact, and design excellence across Cisco's devices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in UX, HCI, Interaction Design, Product Design, Cognitive Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing complex enterprise, B2B, collaboration, hardware-software, or connected device products.
• Experience leading product design from problem definition to launch, including discovery, concepting, iteration, delivery, and cross‑functional alignment.
• Experience designing and shipping workflows, interaction systems, intelligent experiences, or enterprise products that improve user and business outcomes.
• Portfolio with at least 2 shipped examples showing the problem, candidate’s role, solution, outcome, and use of design/prototyping or AI‑assisted tools.

Responsibilities

• Shape human-technology interaction across Cisco devices to make workflows clear, reliable, and visually refined.
• Turn AI, multimodal, sensor data into practical, trustworthy collaboration experiences.
• Design scalable interaction models and architectures for hardware, services, and enterprise environments.
• Partner with design, product, engineering, research, data science, and business teams on priorities.
• Use qualitative/quantitative insights and telemetry to improve usability and AI behavior.
