Job Title and Location

We are seeking a talented and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team in Alta Norway.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine preservation needs


• Develop preservation plans and strategies to maintain the integrity of historic buildings


• Collaborate with project teams to ensure preservation goals are met during restoration projects


• Coordinate with local authorities to ensure compliance with preservation regulations and guidelines


• Conduct research on historical construction methods and materials to inform preservation decisions


• Prepare detailed documentation of project progress and reports on completed projects

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field


• Minimum of 3 years experience in architectural design or preservation work


• Knowledge of historical construction methods materials and building codes


• Strong understanding of sustainability principles in preservation work


• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with project teams clients and local authorities


• Ability to work independently as well as within a team

Preferred Qualifications

Salary and Working Conditions
