Job summary

IKM Consultants AS is seeking a Pipeline Engineer to support concept and project development in Fornebu or Stavanger, collaborating across disciplines to define scope and select technical requirements.

You will join a proactive, team-oriented group with at least 5 years of EPCI experience in rigid pipelines or flowlines, and you must be fluent in English. This full-time assignment runs until 30 October 2028.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of EPCI experience with rigid pipelines and/or flexible flowlines and risers.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in concept and project development within your discipline.
• Define scope and select relevant technical requirements.
• Contribute to tendering and evaluation activities.
• Prepare technical documents for project sanction, studies, and contract tendering.
• Follow up with contractors during project execution.
• Participate in sporadic offshore installation campaigns.

Required expertise

• A technical degree (Bachelors or Masters) in mechanical, marine, or civil engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of EPCI experience with rigid pipelines and/or flexible flowlines and risers.
• Proactive, self-driven, and able to take initiative.
• A collaborative team player with a proactive and positive mindset.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
