Equinor ASA, based in Stavanger and Oslo, seeks a Tax Compliance Expert to strengthen the Norwegian Tax Compliance team within the CFO organization. The role focuses on Pillar II compliance and robust tax reporting, contributing across the Equinor Group.

The candidate will plan, quality-check and prepare tax returns, advise on tax treatments, and drive digitalization and improvements in tax processes. English and Norwegian fluency required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting, finance, or tax (or Bachelor's with relevant experience)
• 5+ years of experience in audit, tax, or accounting
• Competence in Norwegian tax legislation and IFRS
• Proficiency in both English and Norwegian
• Experience with Pillar II requirements is a plus

Responsabilités

• Be part of a team responsible for planning, quality checking and preparing tax returns
• Deliver on Pillar II compliance for the Equinor Group
• Provide advice related to the tax treatment of transactions and exposure
• Complete quality assurance of quarterly tax accounting
• Prepare tax notes in the annual report
• Correspond with tax authorities regarding petroleum taxation and onshore taxation
• Implement tax assessment changes for previous years
• Implement continuous improvements and digitalization initiatives
