Zusammenfassung

OsloMet invites applications for a PhD fellowship position within the NorQSoft Centre. The successful applicant will conduct and publish research on quantum software for optimization and data analysis, in close collaboration with main supervisors, the department, Simula Research Laboratory and NorQSoft members.

The position is 3 years at 100% research or 4 years with 75% research and 25% other duties, with the goal to complete the PhD within the time frame.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree with average grade B or better; thesis grade B or better; Bachelor’s with average grade C or better.
• Degree should be in theoretical physics, computer science or mathematics.
• 120 ECTS credits normally required; documentation if fewer.

Aufgaben

• Carry out and publish research within the project in collaboration with supervisors and department staff.
• Contribute to QC-related activity at SoloMet and NorQSoft, e.g., seminars and dissemination.
• Present findings at international conferences and workshops.
