The University of Bergen invites applications for a full-time PhD position in the DikomAb project within the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Clinical Science. The three-year position focuses on digital precision dosing of monoclonal antibodies in cancer treatment.

The candidate will work with pharmacy, clinical pharmacology, cancer treatment, analytical chemistry, modelling and digital methods, using Norwegian patient records, PKPD modelling, and AI tools, in collaboration with Haukeland

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline; pharmacy degree is an advantage.
• Norwegian language proficiency at CEFR C1 by the application deadline.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner with good collaboration skills.
• Experience with clinical data, electronic patient records or digital methods is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Read Norwegian-language patient records in DIPS, identify clinical information and assess terminology.
• Use Clinical Regex to annotate patient records and verify outputs against original text.
• Structure and quality-assure clinical data, including data extracted using digital methods.
• Process and analyse drug concentrations and other relevant patient data.
• Develop and evaluate PKPD models and simulate dosing strategies.
• Interpret relationships between drug exposure and clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with clinicians, pharmacists and researchers and communicate results in publications and at conferences.
