UiT The Arctic University of Norway invites applications for a PhD fellowship in subject didactics with a focus on Sámi and/or Kven topics in schools and teacher education. The appointment runs for three years full-time with possible extension and a completion grant may be offered after three years.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required before commencement.
• English proficiency required; Nordic applicants may document with high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Complete research training to the level of a PhD within three years.
• Affiliation with FAHUMNO research group focusing on Sámi and Kven topics.
• Specify academic orientation in the application and develop a 3–5 page project description.
