Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant technical or natural science field; documented English proficiency.
  • Strong ability to plan, document and troubleshoot experimental work and to analyse quantitative data.
  • Experience with dental materials, mechanical testing or imaging-based materials analysis is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, standardise and conduct laboratory experiments according to approved project and data plan.
  • Prepare and finish 3D-printed, CAD/CAM and ceramic crown materials and antagonists.
  • Develop and validate the wear-testing workflow including saliva-based media and temperature control.
  • Perform wear testing, micro-CT imaging and quantitative image analysis with supervision.
  • Contribute to 4D tomography and digital volume correlation experiments as needed.
  • Write scientific papers and a PhD thesis and present results at meetings.
