Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of plastering techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting and carrying heavy materials.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut plasterboard according to specifications from blueprints or drawings.
• Secure plasterboard panels to walls using nails or screws.
• Fill joints between panels with joint compound.
• Smooth out any imperfections or bumps on the surface of the plasterboard.
• Install insulation behind plasterboard panels as needed.
• Work closely with other construction professionals such as carpenters, painters and electricians.
• Ensure projects are completed within designated timelines.
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
