Job summary

GlobalProcure in Bergen, Norway is seeking a skilled Part-Time Mason to join our construction team. You will build and repair walls, floors, fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures using brick, stone, concrete, or similar materials, following blueprints and project plans.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of masonry experience, can work independently, reads plans, and uses common masonry tools. We offer accommodation for non-locals and visa sponsorship; women are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in masonry work.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans.
• Knowledge of different masonry techniques and tools.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Constructing and repairing walls, floors, fireplaces, chimneys, or other structures according to specifications.
• Mixing mortar and spreading it between bricks or stones using trowels.
• Cutting or shaping bricks or stones using hammers or chisels.
• Cleaning excess mortar from surfaces after the completion of work.
• Ensuring worksite safety at all times.
