Job summary

MasterFix Solutions in Oslo, Norway, is seeking a part-time fitter to join our construction team. The role focuses on assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems in buildings and structures.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of fitter experience, can read blueprints, knows various materials, and can use hand and power tools plus welding equipment. You must have your own tools and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fitter.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of different materials and their properties.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Physically fit with good manual dexterity.
• Strong attention to detail; able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must have own tools.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of mechanical systems.
• Measure materials accurately and mark cutting lines on them according to specifications.
• Cut, thread, bend, or shape materials using hand or power tools.
• Assemble components by welding, riveting, bolting or soldering methods.
• Install mechanical systems such as pipes, valves, pumps, heating/cooling systems etc.
• Conduct maintenance checks on existing systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Troubleshoot any issues with mechanical systems and make necessary repairs or replacements.
