Job summary

Flyper in Svalbard is seeking a highly skilled cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of offices, public spaces and private residences. You will dust, mop, vacuum and disinfect to ensure a safe environment for clients.

The role requires proven cleaning experience, ability to work independently, good time management and physical stamina. We offer part-time hours for students, visa sponsorship, and help finding housing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper storage
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Excellent time-management skills
• Good physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting and bending
• Attention to detail and thorough cleaning

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas according to established procedures and standards
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, equipment or other surfaces
• Sweep, mop or vacuum floors using appropriate equipment
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas
• Sanitize restrooms by cleaning toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors and replenishing supplies
• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper or soap as needed
• Notify management of any repairs required or any equipment malfunctions
