Qualifications

• Master’s or terminal degree in the discipline taught or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in the discipline taught, or related field, plus equivalency of Master’s degree in years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated teaching potential.
• Familiarity with the appropriate equipment as required for the discipline.

Responsibilities

• The primary responsibility of a faculty member is teaching, including related activities such as academic advising, student contact outside of class, maintaining office hours, and course/curriculum planning.
• Lab/workshop efforts include providing practical experience with instrumentation and equipment, ensuring safety, supervising multiple students, demonstrating and executing complex procedures, and using complex instrumentation and hazardous materials.
